Corr\u00eda el a\u00f1o 1492.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En 1579 el matem\u00e1tico franc\u00e9s\u00a0Francois Vi\u00e9te, en su obra \u201cCanon\u201d, decidi\u00f3 cambiar la graf\u00eda y emplear, en lugar del punto, una coma como separador decimal.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0Para complicarlo a\u00fan m\u00e1s, el matem\u00e1tico<span style=\"font-size: 1.0625rem;\">\u00a0belga <\/span>Simon Stevin<span style=\"font-size: 1.0625rem;\">(1548-1620) introdujo un nuevo sistema para referirse a los n\u00fameros decimales.
